I've seen what makes a great profile and will help you write a descriptive and targeted profile that attracts the kind of person you want to meet. I also offer coaching on sending the right messages that will have you quickly connecting with your matches and going out on dates sooner than you think. I’ll even help you plan a few! Online Dating is Tough: Let's break it down into 5 Steps. Step 1: Choose your app. Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, Coffee Meets Bagel, OkCupid, Match, Feeld, Grindr, Plenty of Fish, JDate, Christian Mingle: Choose your weapon! There are so many dating services out there. Which one should you use? Well. that depends entirely on what you're looking for. I know the ins and outs of every dating app on the market (and even some currently in development). I can help guide you through the etiquette of each one and navigate their trends and new features as they change and develop. Each app has its unique advantages and disadvantages with different users and intentions. The first step is choosing which app (or multiple apps) is right for you. We'll dive into what you're looking for and choose the right ones for you! Step 2: Select your photos and videos. Photos and videos are the most important aspects of your profile. period! Your profile photos should be a window into your soul for your matches. Most profiles are an amalgamation of low-quality photos, awkwardly cropped group shots, selfies with animal ears, and some don't have any photos at all. A great set of high-quality photos and videos with a set intention behind them, and a relevant caption will help you stand out from crowd. Video content is standard in 2023 and really helps a profile stand out! Don't have photos or videos that you feel great about? If you live in the greater New York City area, I can use my camera to shoot some high-quality photos of you to make your profile shine! We will highlight your best features and showcase your personality to your matches! Step 3: Write your bio. Your bio is a chance to talk about who you are as a person. Contrary to popular belief, it doesn't have to be a cheeky one-liner or a laundry list of your interests. A great bio should establish what kind of person you are, what you like to do, and what you're looking for in a partner. It should also read as friendly and help you stand out of the crowd. These days bios come in the form of voice prompts, poll prompts, essays and quick 150 character phrases! I'll work with you on how to translate your interests and personality into a welcoming bio. Step 4: Send the right messages. Sending the right messages is arguably the hardest and most time consuming part of online dating. At Coffee Meets Bagel, when analyzing the frequency of typical first messages, I saw that a vast majority of mens' first messages just said hey" or "what's up?" While this may work at a bar, your messages online should be thoughtful and provoke a response that will help you connect on a mutual interest. This can be anything from something interesting you see in their photos, a witty joke in their bio, or a shared hobby. I'll coach you in delivering the perfect messages that will start making things happen for you. Step 5: Plan your dates. The last step is actually planning your dates! The type of date that you plan can have a major impact on the chemistry that you build with your match when you go out. We'll work together to plan dates that are uniquely you! I'll give you some suggestions for some great unconventional and conventional dates designed to help build chemistry and connection and minimize those awkward moments on first dates. As a young person in my 20’s I've tried all the wacky dates from Alcatraz on Acid to checking out the Zebras in the Zoo. Once you sign up, you'll be asked to fill out a short survey so I can better understand your personality and hobbies, your current dating strategies, and what you're most looking to get out of coaching. I'll use this information to personalize the workshop to best fit your needs and start brainstorming content for your profile. Together, we'll work through my 5 steps to design your profile from the ground up until we reach a point where your profile accurately represents the best, most approachable and attractive version of yourself.
