Article: Just went through another year of OLD and got nowhere but burnt out (again). I was commiserating with a friend and he brought up the idea of a dating coach. I was commiserating with a friend and he brought up the idea of a dating coach. Does anyone have any experience or insights on this? I've seen some posts here and other subreddits about matchmaking services and it seems like that is a huge waste of money, so part of me thinks that dating coaches might be the same. EDIT: As always this community has given a lot of feedback. I am looking into this mostly to have someone (that's knowledgeable/experienced) be my editor when it comes to the OLD profile and messaging part. My friends don't seem to help much with that, and they have their own lives with wives and children to deal with. I also don't want to be the guy that posts here every day about my troubles asking for help. I am currently seeing a therapist to help with my life issues/trauma and she is making me go out more as well.
